Thank you!! Last year, due to a lost grant and lower than normal donations, our funds were half of what we started with. This year several individuals made generous donations and Miami Valley Gaming just came through with a large donation. Now we are mostly recovered from last year’s losses. The money will help cover the costs for food and keep our vans on the road while we pick up donations from grocery stores.

The Little Miami Food Pantry is a true community effort between the Salem Township trustees, member churches, United Way, Shared Harvest, donor grocery stores, dedicated volunteers, and regular people like you that support us financially and with food donations. We typically serve about 400 families each month, distributing 43 items per family. It takes a lot of hands working together to make the pantry work.
Besides providing a way to contact us, this website is designed to extend an invitation to help out with a monetary or food donation, or to join us as a volunteer. The need is real. Like other nonprofits, our numbers are up, our expenses are up, but our funding is down. Please consider helping the pantry out.
